History of CCFS<\/b><\/p>

Founded in 1919, The Cours de Civilisation Fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne<\/a> (CCFS), are affiliated with the Robert de Sorbon Foundation, a non-profit association recognized as being of public utility since 2009. Every year, the CCFS welcome students from all over the world , all eager to deepen their knowledge of the French language and French culture. Our institution offers various French language teaching programs, thus contributing to the dissemination of French culture on a global scale.<\/p>

CCFS attracts students from nearly 160 nationalities, including from Asia and America, providing a rich international experience. Close to the prestigious Sorbonne University, the CCFS offer high-quality teaching which has been rewarded with the FLE (French as a Foreign Language) quality label. This label, awarded by France Education International, recognizes the added value of the linguistic offering and services offered by the CCFS.<\/p>

Located in the heart of Paris, CCFS offer an ideal environment for complete immersion in French language and culture. Learning French goes hand in hand with the discovery of France and its heritage, in the prestigious setting of the Sorbonne.<\/p>

In 2023, with their long experience, the CCFS continue to play a major role in learning French and discovering French culture and civilization.<\/p>

CCFS courses<\/b><\/p>

French<\/b><\/p>

The lessons offered by the Cours de Civilisation Fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne are characterized by their richness and diversity. International students therefore have the opportunity to take general or intensive French courses, or to opt for a course combining the learning of French language and discovery of civilization. The CCFS also offer specialized courses devoted to business French, a course that can also be accompanied by a series of conferences. University French courses, in the form of \u201cpr\u00e9pa master\u201d, help students getting ready for pursuing higher studies. CCFS offer different options including online courses, evening courses or summer courses in order to better adapt to the schedule of registrants.<\/p>

Exams<\/b><\/p>

As an approved exam center, the Cours de Civilisation Fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne allow students to take several French exams that comply with the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). International students who wish to formalize their level in French can thus take the DELF B1, DELF B2 and DALF C1, with the CCFS also offering preparation for obtaining these diplomas. It is also possible to register to the CCFS to take the Test de Connaissance du fran\u00e7ais (TCF) as well as the TCF IRN which facilitates administrative procedures (residence permits and naturalization)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
